Podaci o markiranosti leksema u dvojezičkim rječnicima / Usage labels in bilingual dictionaries

The paper examines the issue of indicating lexeme markedness in bilingual dictionaries. Markedness goes beyond denotative meaning lexemes and is considered to be information referring lexical knowledge that must given dictionary user order for their selection adequate communicative situation they might find themselves in. This comprises, example, data on stylistic, temporal, regional units. In first part paper, a theoretical overview lexicography presented. empirical part, lexicographic practice investigated using example from semantic field TO DIE Croatian German by Jakić Hurm (1999). Suggestions labelling Bosnian-German universal (BNJUR), which process being created, are proposed as well. goals this research are: (1) determine representation pragmatic at macrostructural level Croatian-German (1999); (2) articles form usage labels ways presenting description. Here, it also important a) language elements label specified b) how many “is valid”; (3) propose concrete solutions improving BNJUR, keeping mind needs its target users. analysis indicated several shortcomings practice, ranging listing equivalents marked differently relation entry, not marking general, ambiguities regarding what refer to.
